The Balmy Beach Canoe Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of sprint canoe and kayak racing in the Beach community. The Club’s goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable, recreational and/or competitive environment, for members of all ages and abilities. Programs are designed to develop both the physical and mental strength of individual members while encouraging team and Club spirit.
Balmy Beach has a long tradition of accommodating the financial needs of individual athletes where the burden of paying membership fees may prevent them from participating in a program. These situations are handled on a case by case basis and should be discussed with the Head Coach, the Commodore or the Registrar directly. Grants are also available for athletes 18 and under from the Canadian Tire Jump Start Program at 1-877-616-6600
Registration for all summer programs is open.
