What time should I arrive on race day?

It is recommended that athletes arrive at least 90 minutes before their race, if it's your first time, 2 hours is preferred. ​

When can I plan to leave after racing?

After the athlete's last race please plan for time to debrief with their coach and load their boat onto the trailer before departure which will take approx. 45 mins - 1 hour, depending on how fast they move!

What do I need to bring to a Regatta?

Please download our Regatta Checklist.(https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Rba1DxvwfY0meBlihWnKtAXBc656iZwE/view?usp=sharing) This list ensures athletes appropriately prepare for racing when it comes to equipment, gear, nutrition, etc.

It is advised that athletes pay specific attention to the items under "personal gear".  Ideally, athletes will have dry clothes to race in for each race as well as a dry outfit to wear in between races. Rain gear is also recommended.

We also recommend having a watch on hand for race day. Coaches will be assisting athletes with race preparation, however, if an athlete wanders off to the washroom 20 minutes before their race, we cannot go looking for them.  Having a watch is also a good habit for a young athlete!

Are there racing fees?

There is no fee for racing!  All racing fees are covered in your membership fee.
