The Special Olympics Learn to Paddle Program is a sport program for people with special needs. The sessions offer an opportunity for teens and adults with special needs to come down and try it out!
AGES: 14 years and up
DATES:Select Sundays in June, July & August
Cost: $20/session
Coaches and volunteers work in a friendly, knowledgeable and safe environment to help you explore the range of adaptive equipment and get out on the water.
Coach to paddler ratios are small often 1:2. No paddling experience necessary but participants must be comfortable in and around water.OPTION 2

Option 2 covers all Special Olympics Sunday sessions for the season. The sessions offer an opportunity for teens and adults with special needs to come down and try it out!

Competitive Program
Registration Closed
The competitive program is a training program for athletes with special needs who want to train and compete at local and national regattas.
AGES: 14 years and upDATES:
Select Sundays in June, July & August
Cost: $350
3 practices a week for 3 months
Racing opportunities at the following regattas:
BBCC – July 18 (Welland)
WOD Championships – July 25 (Welland), Ontario Championships – August 15 (Welland)
National Championships – August 28 – 29 (Ottawa)
