BBCC Olympians
Balmy Beach is proud to have three athletes named to the Canadian 2020 Olympic and Paralympic team in canoe/kayak sprint.

The canoe/kayak sprint events will take place from August 1st - 6th (Olympics) and September 2nd - 4th (Paralympics).
We are incredibly proud to send Nick Matveev, Courtney Stott, and Andrea Nelson off to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. It has been an extraordinarily challenging year but we have seen these three athletes keep their goals and olympic dreams front of mind.
We weren't able to host a send off event before the team left for Tokyo this year. Instead, we all came together to wish Nick, Courtney, and Andrea the best of luck at the games in this video. May you have an experience of a lifetime and bring home lots of stories to share with our next generation of athletes. You are history in the making and we can't wait to see you on our screens at home and your names painted on the BBC mural on the boardwalk!
THE RACES ARE OFF!
Olympic Canoe Sprint events begin on Sunday August 1st at 8:30PM EDT and run until Friday August 6th.
We have organized some opportunities to watch the races as a team at the Balmy Beach Club:
Live Stream:
The races will be streamed live at the Main Club (Balmy Beach Club) every evening. Reservations are required and one guest per member is permitted. To book a reservation, go to the BBC member booking portal

Race Replay Watch Party:
Join us on Wednesday August 4th and Saturday August 7th in the Banquet Hall at the Balmy Beach Club to watch the races together. You do not need to be a BBC member and you do not need to have a reservation to attend this event. There is a 76-person capacity to the Banquet Hall, spaces will be filled on a first come first served basis. The bar and kitchen will be open for food and beverage orders.
