Join the fastest growing sport in the world!

Dragon boat is one of the largest and fastest team sports out there. From team building to water fun, Dragon boat offers it all.  With Balmy, we offer an introduction to the sport of Dragon Boat for High School (grade 9- 12) and Grade School (7-8).

Our High School program is 10 on-water sessions running the Month of May (After school hours) and one end of season race on the first weekend of June.

Our Grade School (7-8) is a 10 on-water sessions running once a week after school through May and June with a final season end race day at the end of June.​

​All you need to do is register, we supply the rest. Don’t worry about equipment, paddles, life jackets, just bring an attitude to learn.  No experience is necessary.

​The program is geared to the development of new on-water sport skills in the dragon boat, paddling technique, general conditioning, team boat skills and racing performance skills. This program will also develop positive teamwork, competitiveness, goal orientation, confidence and sport character behaviours.

Boats are located in Ashbridges Bay (at the foot of Coxwell Avenue)
