Celebrate Mother’s Day on the water with a fun, beginner-friendly dragon boat experience at Balmy Beach Canoe Club.

This event is designed for mothers and their children to try dragon boating together in a supportive, relaxed environment. No prior paddling experience is needed—our coaches will guide you through everything from how to hold a paddle to working as a team on the water.

You’ll start with a quick on-land introduction to the boat and basic technique, then head out as a group in a dragon boat for a short paddle on Ashbridges Bay. It’s all about trying something new, spending quality time together, and enjoying the experience.
